Nik has a long history in leading and managing software and digital product teams, and is responsible for the software development team at the Bennett Institute. Previously he led tech teams at a web agency (in the very, very early days of the web) and The Guardian, and then several years freelance. That freelance work took him to the University of Cambridge, BMJ and the public sector, most notably ONS and Ofsted. He has a PhD in AI and natural language processing.
