Kareem is a pharmacist and DPhil candidate conducting research at the intersection of data science, clinical practice and health policy. His research examines barriers to adoption of clinical guidelines across primary care using population-level prescribing data to reduce health inequalities. Kareem holds a Master of Pharmacy from the University of Nottingham and an Independent Prescribing qualification from the University of Huddersfield. He previously practised clinically in Bradford for four years, consulted to GP practices across England, and contributed to the development of an internationally patented AI health assistant.
